Change

I love change. Sometimes the change can be hard to face.

It is February and I am now looking at a major change in my life.
I don't know whether to jump for joy for the opportunities that lay ahead.
Crawl into a hole and wish that I was not as driven as I am.
Ignore the need to impress and just be me.
Take the time to cry it out.
Rest in the faithfulness of God.
Or... could it possibly be a combination of all those things?

Psalm 33:4-5

4 For the word of the LORD is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does.

5 The LORD loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of his unfailing love.

sledding

We went out sledding and it was so fun! When we hit the bottom of the driveway we slushed is so much water that it was freezing... oh well... totally worth it.

This was when we just started out... We were trying to figure out what types of sledding options worked the best! It was a blast!

It was a great snow day! We started the day with pancakes and coffee (a tradition that Bunch and I have whenever we are home together), went out and took pictures, then came home for a while and waited for the snow to accumulate, played Scattergorie, went out sledding with Becky and Ashley, picked up Brittney because she didn't have any electricity, ate a great dinner of lasagna (I think this has become my favorite) and now we are just hanging out and watching The Holiday... It was a full day, but so much fun. It really doesn't feel like a snow/ice day at all!

cold and dreary

I am so ready for spring! We are supposed to get 1/4 to 1/2 of ice tonight... I am totally not a fan of this cold weather. Oh well... gives me a good excuse to get that Econ homework done... Hopefully Yoga isn't canceled... I don't know what I would do without that!

For some reason when I just read my post... I felt like I sounded really ditzy... oh dear! I guess I am just scattered...

Sad...

I saw this on postsecret and thought it was so sad. I know that my lack of investments has made it so the economy is not at the forefront of my mind, but everyday I study the affects of what is going on. Everyday in business we feel it, we know it is a hard year. Our country is in the best position to weather a time like this, though. With all the different support systems out there to help people. But again, those systems are in danger as well. I don't normally like to write or even admit that things are tough right now, but I think that I sort of have to. Even with that, we are still a completely blessed society. So many people have lives that do not come anywhere near our success.

Up Dog, Down Dog

Today was my first time experiencing Yoga... and yes, it is an experience. I was really impressed with the extent of how deep it went. I think I am going to be incredibly sore tomorrow. The Neurologists kept telling me that I needed to do Yoga, but I thought I would look like a retard. I was not as graceful as most of the women in there, but I was able to keep up, which was encouraging to me.

On another note... I am really ready for the weekend. This week has just been a really different week. I think trying to adjust from being on break and then trying to go into work every day and know that I am one more day closer to being done.

Snow and airports

Well... Just sitting in the Denver airport waiting for my flight back to Arkansas. The two weeks that that I spent at home went by so fast. I did not get half what I wanted to! ugh... Oh well. Now I am going back to my last class, last few months on the job, and looking for a new job. The start of a new year and this ones holds a lot of uncertainty... that is for sure.

Ok... so I love how boots are in style now... I'm sitting in the airport and have seen so many different styles go by and I love it...
